The Transcontinental Race is a self-supported bicycle race across Europe with no fixed route. Riders have to create their own course and include the mandatory checkpoints and parcours to complete the race. This year, that took approximately 4,000 kilometers for most riders to complete a route from Geraardsbergen, Belgium, to Thessaloniki, Greece. Sherry from the BuzzAlong YouTube Channel rode it with her partner Gereon Tewes and finished 16th overall, becoming the first pair to complete their ride, which amassed 3,666 kilometers over 10 days and 21 hours. Sherry put together a video documenting their experience to provide insight into what this monumental race is like.

In addition to Sherry and Gereon's achievement, Christoph Strasser won the ninth edition of the Transcontinental Race overall, finishing his course from Geraardsbergen to Thessaloniki in 8 days, 16 hours, and 30 minutes. Jaimi Wilson was first solo woman to complete the race with a time of 11 days, 7 hours, and 39 minutes.
